It recently occurred to me that I have been working 2 jobs, Participating in LinkedIn Discussions has become my second job. Every article on my blog

was inspired by a Volunteer Discussion Participant.
I always say "Thank You" to the Volunteer Discussion Participant but sometimes a Thank You just doesn't seem like a fair trade.
Real Professionals like Michael Beck, Mark Hunt, Lee Salz, Craig Faczan, Frank D. DiMatteo, Bernie Droulliard, Chris Anderson, Mark Simko, Petr Kulakov, Matt Willer, Brad Roderick, and Dave Westake just off the top of my head.
I would like to think that some people would feel the same way so, I thought I would list my second job, Volunteer Discussion Participant, on my LinkedIn Profile and would encourage all active Volunteer Discussion Participants to do likewise.
We don't have to have to same ideology or even see "eye to eye" on the various issues being discussed, one thing we can agree on is that we have all received benefits that Volunteer Discussion Participants provide.
The least we can do is give those that provide the "magic" a positive recommendation.

Hired as a sales rep Jan. 2, 96â, led Company in Monthly Sales Revenue, GP % and GP $ in March. Promoted to Sales Manager of newly created sales division in April. Hired, trained and motivated a staff of 20 outbound telemarketing sales professionals and in December of 96â we led all Company sales divisions in Monthly Sales Revenue, GP % and GP $. By June, 97â we had lapped the field in Monthly Sales Revenue, GP % and GP $, and in July, 97â I was promoted to General Manager of the new Max Group Atlanta Distribution Center . Responsibilities included creating the new Max Group Atlanta Distribution Center and led to the daily management of 60+ employees, opening 2,400 new accounts and handling 600 daily transactions generating $50 million in sales revenue in 1998. Implemented inventory control program that was utilized in all locations to limit shipping mistakes and increase customer service. Initiated Corporate Sales Training Program.
